WASBE (World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles), International Symphonic Wind Band Festival, Utrecht Brass 2017, Utrecht Blaast. From July 15 – 23 2017, the WASBE International Symphonic Wind Band Festival 2017 took place in Utrecht. With over 30.000 visitors and an impressive (fringe) program, the city was vibrating with symphonic wind music. The spectactular festival consisted of free pop-up and lunch concerts in the city centre, boat parades and various concerts, including two concerts by the WASBE2017 project orchestra. Tijdens het succesvolle WASBE International Symphonic Wind Band Festival 2017 lieten ruim 1500 blaasmusici van zich horen. Brassbands, harmonieorkesten, blaaskapellen, fanfarecorps, blaasmuziekensembles en solisten gaven concerten op diverse fantastische locaties in Utrecht. Op het gevarieerde programma stonden gratis pop-upconcerten en lunchconcerten in de binnenstad. Ook waren er bootparades en diverse concerten, waaronder van het speciale WASBE projectorkest 2017. Dit project besloeg een impressie van het Fringe Programma tijdens het WASBE festival. in Juli 2017. Dit blazers festival vond plaats gedurende 9 dagen in Utrecht op diverse binnen, en buitenplaatsen in de stad, waaronder ook de concertzaal TivoliVredenburg.Fringe program
